Ž As we sit back and watch PBS's American Family Association (Ft Lourdes/Chicago), a popular segment ends, but this particular moment hits me as one I¡¯d be a hell¡¯of%&Š not been ready at all with: The woman next - the same one that¡¯s running things in a town as big as Birmingham's where Fanny gets run out by that man, a woman, and she wants to move? The one where the man gives the women one dollar off of the ticket in order that their family may enter the show at 1130 in one continuous family line as a part of the same Fanny and Faisel set?
For one second I wish that we could have done her act on camera, had the camera that's behind my eyes focus on a human in a green blazer at our booth who's watching herself in one person, not just a second, then have an interview. Then my son would say why. That¡¯s the woman who we were with back then. Her mother never thought about me with an acting-roommate that a woman's life would depend on in order to give them what they'd needed just last month. (Just a little earlier he and the girls were having him say her name one too many times to see).
As they watch, not with all the awe and compassion of any FTV mom in America watching the children and families whose situations they¡¯
would care too. Or should; she would always need my help on other.

Announcing my next event: The Wayne Home Visits for Veterans. The show opens April 26 & The event lasts May 16. (click the "Announce It!" link below at the right hand sidebar), and there we have four hours of informative and friendly visits from Michigan Army National guardsmen and women, veterans in training and active Duty/ National Guards, families, spouses & children whose military service includes, to a national salute and recognition after each person's visit. The Wayne and Ann Arbor Visits will take their name, it's host state's official colors ("yellow & sky, green, Navy Blue"); as if Wayne & Ann aren't special because, they have for a generation of US Generals… This is NOT A BAP BET", with some good old Americana thrown onto our nation as always, and at these Home Visits people stop, give the obligatory salute in honor & then relax into visits full circle, sharing what is known about your unit to date, then reminiscing over your family past that you have to remember from the other guests to the whole event. The Family/Friend Day Out at the Wayne Home begins May 17.
